North Kent Transit


North Kent Transit is a service provided by Hope Network to the northern cities and townships in Kent County. To be eligible for transit services, individuals must have a physical or mental disability (a doctor's confirmation may be required) or be an older adult (60+), and a resident of a participating city or township.

A fare is required for North Kent Transit serves and ranges from $4.00 per trip to $7.00 per trip, depending on the destination of the trip. North Kent Transit is able to accommodate passengers using mobility aides such as wheelchairs or walkers. 

North Kent Transit is available Monday – Friday from 8:00am until 4:30pm for medical appointments, recreational activities, and transportation to and from employment.

After several months of constructive dialogue, leaders of Flint-based Insight and Grand Rapids-based Hope Network have reached an agreement to join their organizations in order to efficiently grow and enhance their substance abuse and mental health services for the people they serve across Michigan.
