Hope Network provides transportation services to senior citizens to and from a number of different programs and locations. With the mission of maintaining the highest quality of life by keeping seniors connected to their communities, Hope Network Transportation partners with the following agencies:
Area Agency on Aging of Western Michigan (AAAWM)
Passengers, 60 years or older attending adult day programs at Gerontology Network’s Care Tree Adult Day Services, SarahCare Adult Day Center, or Hope Network’s Side by Side program may be eligible for transportation to and from the center. Access to these services are decided by the individual centers at the time of enrollment, and a cost share may be required.
Kent County’s senior transportation network, RideLink, offers transportation to adults 60 or older to necessary appointments, including doctors visits, recreational visits, and shopping trips throughout Kent County. RideLink passengers are encouraged to make a minimum $2.00 donation per trip.

Care Resources (PACE Program)
Transportation is available to those attending the Care Resources PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) in Grand Rapids. Determination of eligibility is made by Care Resources at the time of enrollment and participation in the Care Resources program is required. The passenger is not required to pay a fare when boarding the vehicle. Transportation is available to the Care Resources Center and to all medical appointments as requested by Care Resources.
Hope Network drivers are specially trained to attend to the specific needs of the Care Resources passengers and the requirements of the program. Drivers are trained by both Hope Network and Care Resources staff and covers the special needs of the senior population, including mobility assistance, securing wheelchairs, and symptoms of Alzheimer’s and dementia.
