2022 One in Five Run Series for Mental Health

One in Five Series

A series of races and challenges. One mission. Supporting your own mental health, while supporting your community’s as well.

With the Hope Network One in Five Series, get moving in honor of the 1 in 5 who face a mental illness. Whether it’s running a team marathon, walking a virtual 5K, biking, paddling, or hitting that downward dog...each move is part of a movement that’s turning the conversation about mental health issues into action.

2022 Hope Network One in Five Series Events

Because mental health matters – to every one of us, all across the globe. Each event is held in honor of the 1 in 5 who face a form of mental illness.

Mental Health Movement Challenge (Throughout May)

Get moving in the name of mental health! Commemorate Mental Health Awareness Month throughout May with the Mental Health Movement Challenge. All types of movement are welcome (and encouraged) – from miles run to time on the yoga mat, neighborhood walks or cycling sessions. It’s all about getting moving for mental health – your own, and your community’s.

This month-long event is open to participants worldwide at no cost. Log activities, share, milestones, raise support, and move as much as you can to make a difference for mental health. Join us and #moveformentalhealth!

One in Five Team Marathon and 5K (August 12 – Millennium Park, Grand Rapids)

As the sun sets, we lace up for mental health. Join us for a powerful night of racing through the park and coming together to make a difference in honor of the 1 in 5 who face mental illness in any given year. Choose from an individual 5K race or link up with a team of five to complete a full marathon. It all ends with an epic post-race celebration – lights, music, and being part of a community committed to taking action for mental health.

Registration includes a medal, shirt, and one unforgettable evening.

World Mental Health Day Virtual 5K/10K

Run like the world is watching! Cap off the 2022 One in Five Series with a worldwide event that makes a difference for mental health: the World Mental Health Day Virtual 5K/10K. We’re ending the stigma, we’re taking action, and we’re letting people from all over the world know that mental health matters. It all starts with you, right where you are, running or walking a 5K or 10K for mental health.

Your registration comes with a shirt, a medal, and the chance to make a difference on a global scale.
