Hope Network Neuro Rehabilitation, a leader in post-hospital brain injury rehabilitation, announces Taylor Hughes, MA has recently joined the organization as a full-time Psychologist at the East Lansing location.

As a member of the clinical leadership interdisciplinary team, Taylor provides psychological and neuropsychological screening, behavioral assessments, and designs individual treatment. He is available for testing, individual therapy, and behavioral consultation for patients in our transitional inpatient, outpatient and residential living rehabilitation programs.

Taylor completed his Pre-Doctoral Internship for Clinical Psychology at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services in Grand Rapids, MI, where he performed neuropsychological assessments for individuals with traumatic brain injuries, neurocognitive disorders, temporal lobe epilepsy neurosurgeries, among other neurological disorders. He was attracted to Hope Network because it provides him the opportunity to be part of a greater treatment team that helps individuals find hope and meaning in their lives.

“The extensive experience in neuropsychological assessments and post-concussion evaluations Taylor brings with him adds great value to our current and long-term service offerings as a national provider in brain injury rehabilitation”, said Dr. Martin Waalkes, Director of Neuro Rehabilitation for Hope Network. “We feel fortunate to have Taylor on our team, he is very passionate about his work, something our patients and other team members will greatly benefit from”, continued Waalkes.

Taylor has collaborated on several research papers and poster presentations the past several years; he is a member of the Society for Clinical Neuropsychology: Division 40, and the American Psychological Association.
