Hope Network has acquired Developmental Enhancement Behavioral Health. And as we transition through this process over the next few months, we wanted to make sure that as a Hope Network Center for Autism family, all your questions were answered. See below for some FAQs.
The acquisition is an investment in Hope Network’s autism and behavioral health services. It is intended to expand access to evidence-based services and strengthen Hope Network’s ability to serve more children and families throughout West Michigan.
No. There are no changes to your child’s current services as a result of this announcement.
No. Your child will continue to follow their treatment plan and work with their current Hope Network Center for Autism treatment team. As always, any future clinical recommendations would be discussed with your family through the normal treatment-planning process.
The announcement does not change your child’s current services. No changes to Center for Autism schedules, treatment hours, or locations have been identified. If a future change directly affects your family, Hope Network will communicate that information before it takes effect.
No action is required from current Hope Network Center for Autism families as part of this announcement. Please continue following your existing care plan, schedule, and communication processes.
No immediate insurance or billing changes have been identified for Hope Network families. Payer enrollment, credentialing, contracting, and administrative transition planning are part of the broader integration process. Families will be notified if a future administrative change affects them.
DE provides Applied Behavior Analysis, psychological assessment, counseling, and related behavioral health services for children and adolescents. Its team includes psychologists, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, behavioral technicians, counselors, and support professionals. You can find more info here: https://debh.org/services/
DE currently operates locations in Grand Rapids, Grandville, and Holland. DE will continue providing services through its existing locations and clinical teams.
As of right now, a process for transferring between Hope Network and DE locations has not been established. Families interested in other service options should speak with their Center for Autism team for guidance based on clinical needs, service availability, and insurance requirements.
Not immediately. The organizations will begin working together through a thoughtful and measured integration process. The focus is on continuity of care, operational stability, support for employees, and preserving the strengths of both organizations rather than making immediate program changes.
As of right now, yes. No immediate branding changes are planned. Any future brand decisions will be evaluated thoughtfully after integration milestones are achieved.
The partnership brings together complementary autism, psychological assessment, counseling, and behavioral health expertise. It is expected to strengthen services, expand access to care, support continued investment in autism services, and create a broader continuum of services for families across West Michigan.
Yes! Expanding access is one of the primary reasons for the acquisition. The partnership is intended to increase Hope Network’s capacity to serve children and families. The timing of additional capacity and any effect on individual waitlists have not yet been specified.
Yes. Continuity of care and clinical quality are central priorities. Hope Network and DE share a commitment to evidence-based, family-centered care and intend to learn from one another while preserving the strengths each organization brings to the partnership.
Hope Network will communicate with families if future decisions affect their child’s care or services. For now, families should continue using their existing Center for Autism contacts and communication channels.
