Hope Network Selects Kim Dorer for Chief People Officer Role

Accomplished HR Executive Brings 20+ Years of Experience to Newly-Created Position

Hope Network, a leading provider of healthcare and life services across Michigan, has named Kim Dorer, MPA, SPHR, CFP, as its Chief People Officer. In this newly created position, Dorer will lead the dynamic growth of the nonprofit’s expanding team of talented professionals.

Dorer, a resident of Rockford, Michigan, brings over two decades of executive-level HR experience, including senior roles at Amway and Corewell Health (Spectrum Health). Most recently, she served as Vice President of Human Resources at Simplified Investment.

Hope Network’s more than 2,800 employees provide services to more than 34,000 people across the state every year at more than 300 locations.

Dorer holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Grand Valley State University, as well as dual degrees from Western Michigan University: a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources from the Haworth College of Business and a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Physiology. A sought-after national speaker, Dorer has earned numerous awards and recognitions for her outstanding contributions to the field.

She officially assumes her role as Chief People Officer at Hope Network on July 31.
