Hope Network Neuro Rehabilitation, a leader in post-hospital brain injury rehabilitation, announces Laura Amenta, MS, OTR/L has joined the organization as Program Director of Grand Rapids.
Laura will provide oversight for program operations and leadership for the transitional, day rehab, and outpatient programs, including program development, financial management, and quality, crisis, and facility management. She will also work closely with the residential, vocational, and clinical leadership to ensure all areas are well managed and provide the highest quality of care to the individuals we serve.
She comes to us from Trinity Health at Home where she worked for over 12 years, most recently as the National Director of Rehabilitation Services, serving as the liaison to over 300 colleagues in nine states. Prior to that, she served in various leadership roles at Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine in New York City, specializing in neuro rehabilitation.
“Laura’s background in serving complex neurological patients and her knowledge of multiple rehab disciplines, clinical programming, billing and documentation aligns well with our strategic growth plans,” says Cheryl Feldt, Director of Clinical Operations for Hope Network Neuro Rehabilitation. “She brings a wealth of experience in program development, compliance, quality, and value-based care with her”, continued Feldt.
Laura credits Hope Network for helping her discover and choose Occupational Therapy as her profession when she was an undergraduate at the Grand Rapids clinic. In many ways she feels like she has come full circle. Laura earned her Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Calvin College.
