Chad’s Comeback Story: Chad Takes the Reins

Every week, Chad shows up at Hestóvin Stables Therapeutic Riding Center, ready to get to work. As a resident in Hope Network’s Neuro Rehabilitation program, he has built a routine that is fully his own. He cleans feed troughs and wheelbarrows, sweeps up after grooming, and tackles whatever else needs to be done, including taking care of the spiders in the hay loft.

Chad is dependable, independent, and a lot of fun to have around. And in June, Hestovin Stables recognized that hard work by naming him Volunteer of the Month.

We’re proud of Chad and grateful for community partners like Hestóvin Stables that create meaningful opportunities for people to contribute, connect, and be known for what they bring. Click here to see his story on our Facebook page and check out coverage on local media!
