Grand Rapids, MI – Hope Network Neuro Rehabilitation is pleased to announce the grand opening of their Vocational and Life Enrichment Center at 1570 East Beltline in Grand Rapids.
A celebratory Open House was held on August 29th, 2018 from 4:30pm-6:30pm, for the community to attend.
This new space provides two distinct spaces for each program. One side combines all enrichment programs for people with neurological disabilities in one location. Clients will be able to choose from various activities including arts and crafts, reading groups, exercise classes and many more.
On the other side of the building, the Center will offer Return to Work services, including employability assessments, individualized job placement, and on-the-job coaching for people with physical disabilities, neurological disabilities, mental health issues, learning disabilities, spinal cord injuries and people with brain injuries.
“We’re very excited about this new space and the ability to serve the community at large,” said Maggie Koch, Director of Vocational Services for Neuro Rehabilitation. “By combining our day activity services into one program it will allow our clients and residents greater flexibility and choice.”
A private road will connect to Hope Network’s Neuro Rehabilitation transitional and residential programs via private road. It’s also conveniently located on the GO Bus route for the community to easily access.
