Out of Home Non-Vocational Habilitation

The goal of the Out of Home Non-Vocational Habilitation program is to assist individuals in attaining or maintaining their maximum functioning level by assisting with acquisition, retention, or improvement in the areas of self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills as targeted by their individual plans of service, leading to opportunities for maintained or increased independence.

The program provides necessary supports in smaller group setting to adults with developmental disabilities who are interested in enhancing their abilities and growth through various activities provided in a non-residential setting. We focus on motivating individuals to focus on their strengths, providing opportunities and practice within a therapeutic environment.

Note: This program is for individuals on the Habilitation Waiver, and it is only offered in Kent County
